External skeletons (exoskeletons or shells) limit the amount of growth that shrimp, crayfish, and crabs can achieve. Molting is the only method for them to grow. Molting is the process through which they shed their old shell.

Shrimp require a lot of minerals to rebuild new exoskeletons because they molt frequently (every few days for newborn shrimp to once a month for adult shrimp). As a result, it is our responsibility to give them with all of the minerals they require to construct and fortify their shells.

While our powder food can be fed along with other feeding diets you use, please feed moderately and only in small quantities.

For Shrimp in established tanks, feed only once a week not more than a rice grain (21 mg) size for 10 shrimps in 5 gallons (increments x 0.5 based on volume and stock load)
